Buddhist thanatology, as embodied in Bardo Yoga, is one of the great gifts to humanity. Bardo (“gap, transitional process”) yoga shows us how to practice death, and “Die before you die.” In the Buddhist view, death is a journey of the heart-mind, and that journey can be taken now. If we relate to death properly, it becomes a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
This presentation will offer contemplations and brief meditations that help us prepare, and give us the confidence to also help others as they die.
